I have a PDF — how do I get MusicXML?
  1. MuseScore Studio (free): open the PDF via "File → Import PDF", fix recognition errors and save as MusicXML.
  2. On a phone: PlayScore 2 photographs the sheet and exports MusicXML (paid version).
  3. Soundslice reads PDFs and photos online and also exports MusicXML.

Recognising notes from a PDF makes mistakes — check the result before printing.
